Relay for Life

~Fashion for Life~

It’s that time of year again! Relay for Life has begun in SL, and kicking it off is Fashion for Life, formerly known as the Relay for Life Clothing Fair. Once again, I’m honored to be a participant in this great event as a merchant. This year’s offerings from me are a mix of old, and new (previously unreleased items).

Michelle - Gown - Relay - Ad

The theme this year is ‘Beyond Black and White’. Keeping that in mind, my items this year aren’t all the standard purple. The Relay version of Michelle is an example of this, including black, white, and purple with silver trim altogether in one gown. This version of Michelle includes all the same pieces as a standard Michelle set.

Artemis - Gown - Relay - Ad

For those who enjoyed the Artemis gowns released at the end of last year, she makes another appearance in a rich, royal purple.

Jocelyn - Noir Combo - Fashion for Life - Ad

Jocelyn is something completely new. It’s a large set with many, many options for customizing the look, only some of which are shown in the ad. This version of the set, at only 400L, includes the black base gown with both knee length and full length skirts, and two colors of belt and apron to choose from.

Faith - Gown - Relay - Ad

Next is Faith, another brand new item. It’s a pretty, large skirted ball gown fit for a fairy princess, and I do hope you’ll enjoy it.

I decided this year, to also make some jewelry for the event. Initially I’d meant to only make a crown, but, an IM from the lovely Evangeline Miles nudging me for a full set made me choose to do exactly that…make a complete set. And so, it’s available either with just the crown (three versions included in each package, and they’re transfer for gifting) for 150L, or, for 400L, you can purchase the complete set with includes crowns, necklace, earrings, and bracelet.

Also, there’s a gacha in which you can find the Shulamith earrings. There’s a total of six variations of the earrings. Each try at the gacha is just 25L, and as with the rest of the items, 100% of the proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society.

Kouse’s Sanctum’s RFL Goodies

If you’ve seen my Plurk posts you may have seen me showing these images already, or if you’ve been to the Clothing Fair probably seen them there. If you missed the fair, the RFL items I’m offering for this year’s Relay are now up in Avilion Peninsula.

Relay Draw Ad

One lucky winner will be awarded with a $10,000 shopping spree at the Sanctum! The draw will happen sometime next week, and the winner will be announced in the next in-world release note.

As I’ve mentioned to my Subscribo members, Kouse’s Sanctum will be moving soon, the mainstore will move to Avilion Peninsula. While the build is mostly complete, the vendors aren’t all up. I hope to have everything ready soon, but in the mean time, the discount section is still there, now it’s in the south west section of the sim.

Constanze Draw Winners:

I’ve been busily working creating new things, and neglected to post this! Sorry times one billion to my readers. Here are the names of the five lucky winners:

Salem Pussycat
Kismet Dyrssen
Leri Miles
Suzie Merlin
Isidora Jennings

Congratulations once more to the winners, their prizes were delivered the day of the draw.

~Relay for Life Clothing Fair~

It’s coming on the 16th, mark that down on your calendars. As for me, I’m always twiddling with things…I won’t be completely finished preparing until the doors are open. As promised, here are some pics of what the Sanctum build for the fair looks like at this moment.

I’ve incorporated a lovely table by Sanctum Sanctorum, as well as the magical little tree you see, which I found at New Trails. This build is not final, as I said, I feel I’ll be tinkering with it more later on. And of course, there’s a special gown waiting for the Fair to begin before it’s unveiled ;o. Anyway…more pictures.

I’m really looking forward to the start of it. So many wonderful designers all coming together to create this, so that everyone can come along to the fair, have a great time, and best of all -everyone- gets to be a part of supporting this fabulous cause.

~Constanze Draw~

Yes yes, it’s coming soon, the Relay for Life Clothing Fair – on the 16th of this month, to be exact. The next  post after this will contain some sneaky peek type pics of the Kouse’s Sanctum stall, as well as extra bonuses ;o.

Constanze - Sapphire - Limited Edition

I’d like to go into detail here about how the Constanze Draw, as I’m now calling it, will work. There’s a special version of my new Constanze gown, one that will only ever be in the hands of five people on the Grid™ besides myself. The sapphire fabric and gold trim will be a rarity, indeed. How to own one of them? It’s quite simple. Yes, it will be a draw. No, you don’t have to email me some sort of ballot, fill out some sort of long winded notecard that eats up precious moments…nothing like that. All you have to do, is what I’m sure you’ll do anyway, come out to the Relay fair and support a great cause.

Now to the meat of it: if you buy one of the special Relay items (the ones in the designated vendors, with 100% of the proceeds going to Relay for Life) you will be entered twice, yes twice, for each of those purchases. Any other purchase in the Kouse’s Sanctum booth will count as an extra entry. So, as I go through my transaction history after the fair, any purchase made on the Gift of Life sim will be credited as an entry into the draw, unless it’s from an RFL vendor, in which case it will be -two- entries.

Once all the ballots are made up (yes I get to do all the lengthy ballot making and writing down of names), I’ll put them all into a hat (or something larger if need be) and draw five names. If one name appears twice, I’ll draw another, to make sure five unique individuals will receive a copy of this gown.

Remember, after the prizes are awarded from the drawing, this gown will never be for sale.
