Nairne is something completely different- in Tartan! The gowns are made of, as mentioned, tartan, in a variety of colours, each with chest ruffles, and a portion of the skirt, in creamy coloured fabric, finished off with slightly diagonal lacing on the front of the bodice, and a celtic brooch in silver and with a gem matching the gown on the skirt.
More after the cut!
A lot of love went into these gowns, and when they were finished, not only was I proud of the result, but they’d fast become one of my favourites, not to mention, I was delighted that my idea to use tartan in a gown design worked out this well!
Nairne gowns include corset on the jacket layer, glitch pants, prim skirt, chest ruffles, and the neat little bow tie that finishes off the lacings.
The hair style used in these pictures is also new and at the Sanctum, called Hot Mess. It’s a slightly messy updo with careful attention to detail, feel free to pick up a demo at the main store to see it for yourself!
Nairne gowns are available in a total of ten different colours, you can find them all, and the hair in a full range of colours, at the main store. I hope you’ll enjoy them as much as I do. 🙂
